Basil was going to leave for France for exhibitions that he had set up. He wanted to speak to Dorian one last time as he had heard many terrible things about him recently. This angered Dorian and having told Basil he will never show him the portrait, (in fear he would tell everyone) he decided it was about time he got his wish. He took Basil up to the attic and unveiled. What had become of his painting.

I love this Dorian Grey series. It is one of my favourite books and oh how I wish that they could have made the film n this style rather than what they did do...which was in places hilarious in an unintended way.
I like how effecting the simple monochromatic style here is,the areas of light and dark really give a suitably 'gothic' atmosphere
